| Eleanor M. Kraft (Board President) has been a practicing attorney in California for 47 years. At the present time she does court appointed indigent appeals and some pro bono work in local courts. |
| Cherryll Sevy (Vice President) is President of Cypress Ridge Solutions and Insurance Services, Inc., a Human Resources consulting firm she founded in 1982 in the Silicon Valley-San Francisco Bay Area. As a consultant, trainer and speaker, she is an expert in Compensation planning and Human Resources programs to help clients attract and retain top employees. Her firm also provides benefits plan designs and personal insurance products. |
| Shira Womack (Board Secretary) currently serves as the Information Technologist for Intel’s Education department where she also drives and manages the education technical projects, which include network designs, client and server implementations, software distribution, technical support and applications development. Active in the community, she has volunteered her time and technical skills to support community based organizations' Information Technology needs. She also mentors high school students. |
| Cliff Maas (Board Treasurer) has been involved with commercial property ownership, management and sales in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years. Cliff also received his Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology in 2003. |
| Ted Becker spent 35 years in the Electronic Materials Industry, primarily in Sales Management with General Electric Company and then as VP of Sales and eventually, as President of Isola Laminate Systems. In 2004, he entered the non-profit sector as Resource Development Director for Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley, helping to develop funding sources to expand affordable, self-help housing construction in Santa Clara County from 2 homes/year to 8-10 homes/year by 2007. |
| Mary Gardner currently assists the Director in the administration of Celebrating Families!, particularly those participating in the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health grant in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, CA. Retiring after eleven years as Superintendent of Saratoga Union School District (Saratoga, CA), Ms. Gardner currently consults with non-profit organizations and school districts. Mary Gardner was a school teacher and administrator for 42 years. After one year at Harvard's Graduate School of Education as an instructor and a visiting practitioner, she taught courses in educational leadership at California State University at Hayward. CA. She has provided keynote speeches and workshops on women's ways of leading, co-authored two books on leadership, and a book for parents to help children with homework. Her passions continue to be building communities of learners and leaders ensuring that all families and children have the environment and support to be successful. She has completed doctoral courses at the University of California at Berkeley and has an MA in Education Administration from the University of Redlands. |
| Jeff Moore II is a Licensed and Ordained Minister and registered as an Interim Pastor with the California Southern Baptist Church. He is active with the San Jose Branch of NAACP and volunteers with the Independent Police Auditor of San Jose. Currently, he works as the Community Service Specialist for East Side Union High School District. |
| Kevin Rudich is a Senior Staff Attorney in the Juvenile Division of the Santa Clara County Public Defenders’ Office. Over the last 18 years he has worked on a variety of complex cases varying from gang cases to attempted homicide. In addition, Kevin has worked with Volunteers In Parole, an organization that mentors kids coming out of the California Youth Authority. Through Volunteers In Parole he has mentored 4 kids. |
| Jeff Schwartz is President and founder of LETRA, Inc., a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit that has provided training, research and consultation to law enforcement and correctional agencies across the US and Canada since 1972. Jeff holds a Ph.D. in experimental psychology with an emphasis on statistics, research design and learning theories. He has published a number of journal articles, chapters and training texts in psychology and in criminal justice. Jeff was an elected three term Trustee and twice President of the Governing Board of the West Valley-Mission Community College District. |
